Following the designation of the Clubhouse as a historic landmark in our nation’s capital in 2024, the Board of Governors of the University Club of Washington DC established the UCHPF to receive contributions from members and friends of the Club interested in historic preservation of the Mansion on 16th Street. Contributions to the UCHPF are deductible for federal tax purposes under the IRS code.
The UCHPF is dedicated to ensuring the continued structural integrity and safety of the Mansion on 16th Street through preservation, restoration, and repair work of the exterior of the building, as well as preservation, restoration, and repair work for structural aspects of the interior of the building to allow for the continued enjoyment of the historic landmark for generations to come.
